Jean Shafiroff (born January 24, 1955) is an American philanthropist, author, advocate, and socialite. She currently serves as the ambassador and spokesperson for the American Humane Feed the Hungry COVID-19 Program and hosts the television show “Successful Philanthropy” on LTV. Notably, she has a significant following of 1.2 million on Instagram.
Prior to her philanthropic work and media presence, Shafiroff earned a BS in physical therapy from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons followed by an MBA from Columbia Business School. Her professional journey includes roles as a physical therapist at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City, as well as positions in public finance and private partnerships on Wall Street.

Born Jean Lutri to parents involved with music education in Hicksville, New York; she was raised by a former music chairman and director of district bands for Levittown schools. She is married to Martin D. Shafiroff; together they have been married for over 40 years.
