She also starred on Broadway in Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? As a child, she loved to play the piano and violin, often giving impromptu concerts in her family’s driveway. Sadly, she passed away at just 34 years old after an automobile accident. Over the course of her three marriages, she had five children; one of them being Mariska Hargitay who went on to become a successful actress herself. Fox Studios even signed Mansfield as Marilyn Monroe’s official replacement as Hollywood’s sex symbol.
