She began her broadcasting career by interning with Universal Latino and Machete Records in 2011 before moving on to become a blogger for Viacom and an assistant at Cox Media Group.
She gained recognition as a correspondent for Music Choice during Hispanic Heritage Month in both 2013 and 2014.
