JaxWritesSongs, born on May 5, 1996 in East Brunswick, New Jersey, is a prominent TikTok star and talented singer/songwriter known professionally as Jax. She gained widespread recognition after finishing third on the fourteenth season of American Idol in 2015, competing under the name Jackie Cole. Following the finale, she released her first single “Forcefield” and went on to produce hits including “RingPop,” “Come Home to Me,” and “Papercuts.” Jax later secured a record deal with Atlantic Records.
Before her rise to fame, Jax started singing at just five years old and was homeschooled by her mother starting in eighth grade.
