About Jasmine Choi
Jasmine Choi (born May 23, 1983) is a professional Korean flutist known for her solo albums and collaborative projects. She has served as Principal Flute of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Choi studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and later attended Juilliard School where she won the Albert M. Greenfield Student Competition presented by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Her debut album was released by Sony BMG in 2006, featuring her performance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s concerto for Flute and Harp.
In 2016, she was appointed Cultural Ambassador of Daejeon, Korea, her hometown. Additionally, she was included in Symphony Magazine’s list of emerging artists in 2006.
