Janne Formoe (born July 13, 1975) is a Norwegian TV actress known for her role as Mona Lizzie Olsen in the long-running Norwegian soap opera Hotel Caesar. She gained further recognition for portraying Eva in the 2014 television series Summer and for her work in the popular Karsten and Petra film series.
Prior to her acting career, Formoe performed in several Captain Sabertooth children’s stage and video productions before receiving training at the Norwegian State Theatre College.
Formoe also co-hosted a TV2 program called Summer in the Zoo from 2014 to 2015.
Born in Kristiansand, Norway, Formoe is the daughter of writer and songwriter Terje Formoe. She has a daughter from her relationship with talent manager Jan Fredrik Karlsen.
