Janie Fricke Feet

Janie Fricke, born on December 19, 1947 in South Whitley, Indiana, is a Grammy Award-nominated country singer known for her success in the 1980s and 1990s. She was recognized as the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year in both 1982 and 1983. Prior to her music career, Fricke sang jingles while studying education at Indiana University before relocating to Nashville in 1975. Throughout her career, she achieved seven #1 US country singles between 1981 and 1986 including “Always Have, Always Will.” In her personal life, she married drummer Jeff Steele following her divorce from her first husband and former manager Randy Jackson.
