About Janice de Belen
Janice de Belen, born Catherine Janice Yap de Belen on November 9, 1968 in Quezon City, Philippines, is a Filipino TV actress known for her roles in various ABS-CBN and GMA Network series. Some of her notable works include Flordeluna, Endless Love, and Honesto.
She also appeared in the Shake Rattle & Roll film franchise and hosted popular television talk shows such as Sis, Showbiz Inside Report, and Spoon. De Belen began her career at the age of nine as the host of Newswatch Junior Edition.
In addition to her acting career, she has received numerous accolades including PMPC Star Awards, a Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival prize, and a Philippine Young Critics Circle award.
De Belen comes from a family with entertainment industry ties; she grew up with her sister Gelli de Belen who is also an actress. She was previously married to John Estrada from 1992 to 2004 and has a daughter named Kaila.
