About Jane Bunn
Jane Bunn is an Australian meteorologist and weather presenter, born on August 2, 1979. She is best known for her work on the seven News Melbourne program, as well as her previous roles as a weather presenter on WIN News Victoria and ABC News Breakfast.
Before pursuing a career in meteorology, Bunn earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Monash University in 2005 with a focus on Atmospheric Science and Mathematics. She later completed her Graduate Diploma of Meteorology and Journalism at Charles Sturt University.
Bunn made her television debut in 2008 as a morning meteorologist for The Weather Channel. In addition to her work on seven News Melbourne, she has also appeared on programs such as the Today show and 3AW where she covers extreme weather events such as the Queensland floods and Victoria’s Black Saturday brush fires.
Originally from Melbourne, Victoria, Bunn married Michael, an IT consultant, in 2005.
