Jan Tennant (born January 5, 1937) is a Canadian television journalist best known for her role as the anchor of The Saturday Evening News at 6pm. She was born in Canada and graduated from the University of Toronto before starting her career at CBC, where she worked as a secretary and script assistant.
Tennant later moved to the Global Television Network before retiring in 1988. Despite retirement, she continued to do freelance work in journalism.
