Jan Morris Feet
Jan Morris, born on October 2, 1926 in England, is a prominent non-fiction author best known for her travel writing. Her captivating expositions of Hong Kong, Venice, and Oxford have brought her widespread attention. One of her most famous works is the Pax Britannica trilogy, which was published between 1968 and 1978.
Prior to achieving fame as Jan Morris, she was born as James Humphrey Morris and lived as a man until 1972. An interesting piece of trivia about Jan Morris is that she won the Glyndwr Award in 1996. In terms of family life, she married Elizabeth Tuckniss, the daughter of a tea planter with whom she had five children.
