Jade Tan-Holmes is a YouTube star and STEAM educator, known for creating educational content about physics and other applied sciences. With her motto “Making hard stuff less hard,” she has gained over 600,000 subscribers on her Up and Atom channel. In 2020, she was awarded the Vsauce Fellowship, which allowed her to upgrade her equipment and production studio to create more engaging videos.

Before gaining fame as a YouTube creator, Jade attended the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science with a focus in Physics. She launched her YouTube channel in 2016.

Aside from her online work, Jade has an ENFJ Myers-Briggs personality type and comes from Chinese heritage. Additionally, she adopted two cats with completely different personalities into her family.
