About Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress, born on August 11, 1985 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She rose to fame after winning the Miss Sri Lanka Universe title in 2006 and later ventured into Bollywood with notable roles in films such as Aladin, Murder 2 and Race 2.
Her performance in Aladin earned her the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year and she also received the Stardust Award for Best Exciting Face. Before entering the world of acting, she represented her country at the Miss Universe pageant.
Aside from her film career, Jacqueline has anchored a business program on television in Sri Lanka and authored a weekly column for the Daily Mirror newspaper. Born and raised in Colombo, she moved to Bahrain with her family at a young age.
In her personal life, Jacqueline dated Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa, a Bahraini prince, from 2008 until their split in 2011. Following this relationship, she was briefly involved with director Sajid Khan before their separation in 2013.
