Jackie Tohn (born August 25, 1980) is a TV actress and musician. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Melanie Rosen in Netflix’s GLOW and for playing Gilda Radner in the Netflix movie A Futile and Stupid Gesture.
Prior to her acting career, Tohn appeared on CBS’ The Nanny and studied elementary education at the University of Delaware, where she was also a member of the a cappella group the Deltones.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Tohn has participated in reality TV competitions such as American Idol’s 8th season and Bravo’s Platinum Hit. She has also released studio albums titled Beguiling (2009) and 2.Yo (2010).
Tohn was born in New York to parents Alan and Bella Tohn, who were both physical education teachers. She has two older brothers.
