Before gaining fame as a public figure, she worked as a cook and gave birth to Lil Wayne at the age of nineteen. In 2011, she made a television appearance on an episode of E! Buzz with Carla B.
She was previously married to Dwayne Michael Turner, Lil Wayne’s father, before her son turned two. She also has another son named Semaj and later married Avery Goff in April 2012.
