Ivonne Coll was born on June 18, 1947, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. She is a Puerto Rican TV actress known for her role as Alba Villanueva in the CW series Jane the Virgin. In addition to this role, she has also appeared in Teen Wolf, Switched at Birth, and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Before her acting career took off, Coll was Miss Puerto Rico in 1967 and competed for Miss Universe. Her professional acting debut came as Yolanda in The Godfather Part II. Beyond television work, she is also a theater and film actress with appearances in films such as Waking the Dead, Lean on Me and Instinct.
In May 2020, Coll shared an Instagram photo of her late mother from 1948.
