About Ivonne Cerdas
Ivonne Cerdas is a Costa Rican pageant contestant, born on August 3, 1992. She gained recognition as Miss Costa Rica and was a Top 10 Finalist in the 2021 Miss Universe pageant. With over 100,000 Instagram followers, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the world of beauty pageants.
Prior to her success, Cerdas finished as the first runner-up in the Miss Costa Rica 2012 competition and as the second runner-up in Miss Costa Rica 2015 – an event won by Brenda Castro.
In addition to her contributions to beauty pageants, Cerdas has faced personal challenges such as being diagnosed with dyslexia and stuttering during childhood. She also possesses interests outside of the pageantry world; she is skilled in martial arts and has participated in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions. Furthermore, she holds a degree in information security from Universidad Tecnica Nacional located in Barrio Lourdes, Alajuela Province while pursuing software engineering.
Cerdas hails from the Central Canton of San Jose and spent her formative years growing up in Hatillo city.
