About Ivana Hong
Ivana Hong is an American artistic gymnast who was born on December 11, 1992, in Massachusetts. She rose to prominence as a member of the gold-winning American team at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and later secured victory in the balance beam competition at the 2009 Visa Championships.
Before gaining recognition for her accomplishments in gymnastics, Ivana became a junior international elite in 2004 and made her first appearance at the U.S. Junior National Championships when she was just 11 years old.
In March 2010, Ivana underwent surgery after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee during a training camp with the U.S. national team.
Ivana pursued higher education while continuing her athletic career by competing for Stanford University. Her parents are Mike and Michelle, and she has siblings named Isabelle, Isadora, and Preston.
