Irina-Camelia Begu, born on August 26, 1990, is a Romanian professional tennis player. She has achieved success in both singles and doubles competitions, notably winning titles at the 2011 Copa Bionaire and the 2011 BCR Open Romania.
Begu began playing tennis at the age of three and was coached by her aunt, Aura Wagner. She has been recognized as the top-ranked Romanian player during her career. In 2011, she received the WTA Newcomer of The Year award.
