Ion Overman, born on November 9, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, is a TV actress known for her various roles. She gained recognition for playing Viviana in the United Paramount Network (UPN) series Love, Inc., and also appeared as Gabriela Garza on General Hospital from 2000 to 2002.

Besides television, Overman has appeared in films such as Phat Girlz and Madea Goes to Jail. Prior to her acting career taking off, she began appearing in television commercials as a child and later pursued higher education at UCLA where she earned a degree in English.

In addition to her television and film work, she has made notable appearances on The L Word with five episodes under her belt playing the role of Candace Jewell. Born to a British father and an African-American mother in Los Angeles, Ion Overman’s diverse background continues to influence her work.
