Ingrid Oliver is a British actress and comedian known for her work as one half of the comic duo Watson & Oliver, as well as for her portrayal of Petronella Osgood in the long-running science fiction series Doctor Who.
Oliver was born on November 26, 1977 in London, England. She met her comedy partner Lorna Watson at Tiffin Girls’ School and the two performed their first show together in 2005 at the Canal Cafe Theatre in London.
Besides her comedic work, Ingrid has appeared as Mrs. Stamp in the 2008 comedy film Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, which is based on the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson book series.
Ingrid’s mother became a British politician and served as Member of Parliament for the constituency of Stoke Central.
