Inger Stevens was a Swedish-born actress who achieved recognition for her work in American film and television. Born on October 18, 1934, in Stockholm, Sweden, she became known for her role in the film The Farmer’s Daughter, which earned her a Golden Globe Award in 1964.
Prior to gaining fame as an actress, Stevens worked as a burlesque dancer during her teenage years. She later went on to have one of her most memorable roles in the 1968 Western film Hang ‘Em High.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Stevens married Ike Jones as her second husband in 1961.
