Inger Nilsson, born on May 4, 1959 in Kisa, Sweden, is a television actress best known for her portrayal of Pippi Longstocking in the late 1960s Swedish television series. She also appeared in film adaptations of the beloved children’s story.
After gaining fame as Pippi Longstocking during her childhood years, Nilsson took on a secretarial job in Stockholm and made occasional appearances in television shows, films, and stage plays.
In recognition of her role as Pippi Longstocking, she received a Spanish TP de Oro Award in the mid-1970s.
