Calero rose to prominence when she clinched the Miss Venezuela title in 1987. Following this success, she carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry with notable roles in popular television series such as Rubi Rebelde, Todo Por Tu Amor and Angel Rebelde.
Hailing from Nueva Esparta in Venezuela, Calero achieved the position of third runner-up at Miss Universe 1987. She comes from a family of four sisters – Marlene, Eli and Mari. Notably, she is also the mother of singer Jonathan Moly and has another daughter named Marines.
