About Ina Wroldsen
Ina Wroldsen, born on May 29, 1984 in Norway, is a pop singer and songwriter. She gained recognition after being featured on the 2015 Calvin Harris single “How Deep Is Your Love.” Additionally, she formed the electropop duo Ask Embla with Icelandic music producer Arnthor Birgisson.
Prior to her music career taking off, Wroldsen began writing songs for Norwegian artists seeking international appeal. In 2011, she co-founded Ask Embla with Arnthor Birgisson. She released solo singles such as “Alien” (2014) and “Rebels” (2015).
Wroldsen often performs her own renditions of songs she has written for other popular musicians while performing either with Ask Embla or as a solo artist. She currently resides in London, England with her son William—who was born in 2009—and partner Mark Ellwood. The family also includes their pet cat named Stamp.
