Imogen Poots, born on June 3, 1989, in London, England, is a British TV actress. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Jean Ross in the BBC’s Christopher and His Kind and for her role as Tammy in the film 28 Weeks Later.Poots discovered her passion for acting during her time at the Youngblood Theatre Company as a teenager. Her screen debut was on an episode of the medical drama Casualty.

In addition to her acting career, Poots became known for signing with fashion house Chloe to represent their fragrance line in a commercial directed by Sofia Coppola.She hails from Hammersmith, London. Her father works as a TV producer and she has an older brother named Alex. In February 2022, after four years of dating, she got engaged to actor James Norton.
