About Hwang Shin-hye
Hwang Shin-hye (born April 16, 1963) is a South Korean movie actress known for her collaborations with director Park Chul-soo. She has appeared in notable films such as The Woman Who Walks on Water (1990), Theresa’s Lover (1991), and Push! Push! (1997). Additionally, she received acclaim for her performance in the series Cinderella, earning an MBC Drama Award for Best Actress.
Prior to pursuing a career in acting, Hwang trained to become a flight attendant at Inha Technical College and worked as a model with Taepyeongyang Cosmetics. In 2006, she launched her own line of women’s lingerie called Elypry.
Hwang is the mother of model Lee Jin Yi and was previously married to Park Min-seo and Lee Jeong.
