Hillary Scott, born on April 1, 1986, in Nashville, Tennessee, is a country singer known for her role as the lead vocalist of the group Lady A (formerly Lady Antebellum). The band achieved success with three consecutive #1 albums: “Lady Antebellum,” “Need You Now,” and “Own The Night.”
Before gaining fame with her band, she auditioned twice for American Idol. In addition to her singing career, she has also co-written successful songs for artists such as Sara Evans and Blake Shelton.
In 2012, Scott married drummer Chris Tyrrell. Together they have a daughter named Eisele and welcomed twin girls named Betsey Mack and Emory JoAnn in 2018. Her mother Linda Davis is also a singer-songwriter while she has a younger sister named Rylee.
