About Hester Chambers
Hester Chambers (born February 1, 1994) is a British rock singer and guitarist known for her work as a member of the indie rock band Wet Leg.
Chambers gained widespread attention following the success of Wet Leg’s debut single “Chaise Longue” in 2021, which amassed millions of plays on Spotify. The band released their self-titled album in 2022 to critical acclaim and fan praise.
Prior to her music career, Chambers studied music at Isle of Wight College, where she met her fellow bandmate Rhian Teasdale.
Notably, Wet Leg’s eponymous debut album reached the top of the charts in Australia and the United Kingdom. Additionally, they made an appearance on NPR’s live-music series Tiny Desk in 2022.
Chambers’ boyfriend Joshua has also been involved with Wet Leg as a touring member.
