About Hermione Way
Hermione Way is a British entrepreneur, journalist, and new media personality. Born on June 14, 1985 in Exeter, England, she has made significant contributions to the tech industry.
In 2014, Business Insider recognized her as one of “The 100 Most Influential Tech Women on Twitter”. She is best known for founding the internet video production company Newspepper and establishing StartUpWorld, a global start-up competition.
Before becoming an entrepreneur and journalist, Hermione studied journalism at London Metropolitan University. It was during this time that she founded Newspepper in 2007.
In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Hermione worked as a video correspondent for The Next Web and appeared as a cast member on the reality series Start-Ups: Silicon Valley.
Hermione moved from Exeter to San Francisco, California where she currently resides. Her brother Ben Way is also an entrepreneur who appeared alongside her on Start-Ups: Silicon Valley.
