Heather Langenkamp (born July 17, 1964) is an American movie actress known for her iconic portrayal of Nancy Thompson in The Nightmare on Elm Street film franchise. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Langenkamp has had a long and successful career with over 40 on-screen acting roles.
Langenkamp attended Holland Hall School in Tulsa before graduating from The National School for Girls in Washington D.C. She gained further recognition for portraying herself in the 1994 horror film New Nightmare.
In addition to her acting career, Langenkamp also founded The Malibu Gum Factory, which specialized in selling chewing gum featuring trading cards of local surfers. In 2020, she received the Best Actress award at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival for her performance in the short film Cottonmouth.
Langenkamp was previously married to pianist Alan Pasqua and later wed David LeRoy Anderson in 1989. They have two children named Isabelle Eve and David Atticus Anderson.
