Heather Doerksen, born on February 12, 1980 in Canada, is a TV actress known for her voice acting performance as Kiyomi Takada in the English version of the Japanese anime series Death Note. She has also had recurring live action roles as Pat Meyers and Brandy Harder in Stargate: Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica, respectively. Additionally, she appeared as Major Warner in the Fox sci-fi series Fringe.
Prior to her fame, Doerksen earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Simon Fraser University. Between 2005 and 2008, she appeared in three episodes of The L Word.
She grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada within a family of Dutch heritage.
