About Hanneli Goslar
Hanneli Goslar was born on November 12, 1928 in Berlin, Germany. She is known for her occupation as a nurse and for being a close friend of Holocaust victim Anne Frank, the author of The Diary of Anne Frank.
Goslar became friends with Anne Frank while attending the Sixth Public Montessori school in Amsterdam. During their time at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, she secretly provided food and clothing to Frank.
Tragically, Goslar and her younger sister Gabriela were the only two members of her family to survive the Holocaust. Her parents were Hans Goslar and Ruth Judith Klee; however, her mother passed away while giving birth to her third child.
Goslar gained recognition as a major character in the film My Best Friend Anne Frank.
