About Hannah Georgas
Hannah Georgas is a Canadian pop and rock singer born on August 30, 1983. She gained popularity in the late 2000s with hits such as “The Beat Stuff” and “You’ve Got a Place Called Home.” In 2013, she received the Western Canadian Music Award for Pop Recording of the Year and was nominated for Juno Awards in the categories of Songwriter of the Year and Alternative Album of the Year.
Prior to her music career, Georgas played in a band with Tim Oxford from Arkells before attending college in Victoria, British Columbia. Her song “Millions” was featured in the end credits of HBO’s comedy series Girls.
Georgas’ father is a pianist, and she has three sisters.
