About Hanna Verboom
Hanna Verboom (born May 11, 1983) is a Belgian-born movie actress known for her roles in various Dutch television shows and films. She gained recognition for portraying Elin Dekkers in the show De Co-Assistent and Marie-Claire de Ruyter in Feuten. Verboom’s notable film credits include Quiz (2012) and Gone Back (2013).
Prior to her acting career, Verboom won the 2003 Dutch Elite Model Look contest and pursued studies in philosophy, economics, and film at Amsterdam University. Her screen acting debut came with the 2004 movie Snowfever.
Verboom’s work also reached United States audiences through her role as Eva in the comedy film Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005). In addition to acting, she is an accomplished visual artist who exhibited her work at the Amsterdam Gallery in the early 2000s.
Born in Belgium, Hanna Verboom spent much of her youth living in Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, and later moved to the Netherlands. In May 2019, she married Ralf Roex; their daughter Sara James was born a month later followed by their son Samuel Alexander Luca born on May 2021.
