Halima Abubakar is a Nigerian movie actress, born on June 12, 1985 in Kano, Nigeria. She has risen to stardom in Nigerian cinema with notable roles in films such as “Men in Love” (2010), “Royal Switch” (2015), and “Okafor’s Law” (2016). Beyond acting, she also holds the position of CEO at Modehouse Entertainment.

Prior to her successful film career, Abubakar pursued a degree in sociology at Bayero University in Kano. In recognition of her talent and contributions to the industry, she was honored with the Afro Hollywood Best Actress Award in 2011.

Abubakar comes from a family with an older sister and brother.
