About Hadiza Aliyu
Hadiza Aliyu, born on June 1, 1989 in Libreville, Gabon, is a Nigerian actress and filmmaker known for her work within the Kannywood film industry. She has starred in numerous films including Babban Zaure, Daga Ni Sai Ke, and Ali Yaga Ali. Additionally, she founded the HAG Foundation which promotes improvements in healthcare sectors and food security.
Prior to her acting career, Hadiza initially pursued French Language studies and worked as a French-language teacher at a private school. In 2009, she transitioned into acting after relocating from Adamawa to Kaduna where she made her debut in the film Artabu.
Aliyu received the Best Actress Jury Award at the 2nd annual Kannywood Awards presented by MTN Nigeria in 2014 for her remarkable performance in Daga Ni Sai Ke.
Hadiza was born and raised in Libreville, Republic of Gabon.
