About Guillermina Mekuy
Guillermina Mekuy was born on June 25, 1982 in West Africa. She is a politician and businesswoman who previously served as the Minister of Culture and Artisanal Promotion of the Presidency of the Republic of the Government of Equatorial Guinea. Additionally, she is the founder of the women’s magazine Meik, The Essence of Mestizaje.
Prior to her political career, Mekuy studied law and political science at the Autonomous University of Madrid in Spain. In 2005, she published her first novel titled El Llanto de la Perra.
Mekuy is the daughter of diplomat Luis Mba Ndong Andeme and has six siblings.
