About Gracie Gold
Gracie Gold is an American figure skater and coach, born on August 17, 1995 in Newton, Massachusetts. She gained recognition as the 2012 Rostelecom silver medalist and the 2014 U.S. National Champion. Additionally, she achieved the title of national silver medalist in both 2013 and 2015. At the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Gracie won a bronze medal in the team event and placed fourth in ladies’ singles.
Prior to her rise to fame, Gracie trained at two rinks in Chicago and secured her international debut at the Junior Grand Prix in Estonia where she won a gold medal. She attended Glenwood Senior High School in Illinois before transitioning to online courses at MU High School to focus more on her training.
Gracie comes from a family with a medical background; her mother worked as a nurse while her father was an anesthesiologist. She also has a fraternal twin sister named Carly who has pursued figure skating as well.
