Grace Cunard (born April 8, 1893 in Columbus, Ohio) was a prominent screenwriter renowned for her work as Universal’s “serial queen.” She is best known for her performances in films such as Lucille Love, Girl of Mystery, and The Broken Coin.
Prior to achieving fame, she pursued acting in live theatre and silent films during her teenage years under a stage name. Grace Cunard wrote nearly one hundred screenplays throughout her career.
In terms of personal life, she was married twice; first to actor Joe Moore and later to stuntman Jack Tyler Shannon.
