About Gloria Menezes
Gloria Menezes (born October 19, 1934) is a Brazilian TV actress known for her work on various television programs. She was born in Pelotas, Brazil.
Menezes attended the School of Dramatic Art at the University of Sao Paulo and founded a group called the Independent Youth. Her television career began in 1959 with her role as Eloa in the series A Place in the Sun, and she had her first recurring role on TV de Vanguarda in 1960.
She is best known for portraying Barbara Silveira Bueno on Deus Nos Acuda and Roberta Leone on Guerra dos Sexos. Menezes has been celebrated with awards such as the Oscarito Trophy at the Gramado Film Festival and the Trofeu Imprensa award for Best Actress.
In 1962, Menezes married Tarcisio Meira, and they have a son named Tarcisio Filho.
