About Gizem Karadayi
Gizem Karadayi is a Turkish volleyball player born on January 14, 1987. She gained fame for her international club career, notably playing for VakıfBank during their winning season at the CEV Champions League in 2010-2011. Additionally, she was part of the squad that won the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship in 2011 and the Club World Championship in 2013.
Before her professional career, Karadayi played in the VakıfBank youth academy and made her debut with Turk Telekom Ankara in 2005. She was recognized as the best libero of the CEV Champions League for the 2012-2013 season and also contributed to leading the Turkish national women’s volleyball team to a silver medal at the 2013 Mediterranean Games tournament.
In May of 2013, Karadayi married popular Turkish DJ Huseyin Karadayi.
