Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert, born on September 26, 1979 in Italy, is an Italian fashion editor and author known for her work at Japanese Vogue and W Magazine. She started her career by modeling for Dolce & Gabbana at the age of 17 and later established herself as a fashion influencer using Instagram. In addition to her work in the fashion industry, she published her first book “Gio_graphy: Fun in The Wild World of Fashion” in 2017. Her father was a painter and her mother taught at the Brera Fine Arts Academy; she has three siblings named Antonio, Sara, and Luigi. Giovanna married Swedish property developer Oscar Engelbert in June 2016.
