About Gina Schock
Gina Schock, born on August 31, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland, is a drummer and musician known for her work with the rock band The Go-Go’s. The band achieved success with hits such as “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed.”
Prior to joining The Go-Go’s, Schock played with Edie and the Eggs, a musical project created to showcase John Waters star Edith Massey.
Aside from her work with The Go-Go’s, Schock has co-written songs including the title track of Miley Cyrus‘ 2008 album Breakout and multiple tracks for Selena Gomez & the Scene’s debut album Kiss & Tell.
Schock was raised in Dundalk, Maryland and has spent significant time in San Francisco.
