About Georgina Pazcoguin
Georgina Pazcoguin, born on December 18, 1984 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, is a prominent ballerina known for her work as a soloist with the New York City Ballet (NYCB). In 2013, she made history by becoming NYCB’s first Asian-American female soloist. Pazcoguin has taken on lead roles in original ballet productions such as Romeo + Juliet, Lifecasting, and Ocean’s Kingdom.
Prior to her rise to stardom, Pazcoguin began training at the Allegheny Ballet Academy at just four years old. At age 16 in 2001, she relocated to New York City to further pursue her craft at the School of American Ballet while also attending the Professional Children’s School.
