Georgie Glen, born on April 20, 1956 in Helensburgh, Scotland, is an Irish TV, movie, and theatre actress known for her roles in the shows Evermoor, Waterloo Road, and All Along the Watchtower. She also had notable roles in films such as Les Miserables and Shakespeare in Love.
Prior to pursuing acting professionally, Glen attended the Glasgow School of Art where she studied graphic design before working as a book cover designer. Her acting career began after joining Questors Theatre Company where she crossed paths with fellow actor Alan Rickman.
Glen’s personal life includes raising twin daughters whom she gave birth to in 1989.
