Gates McFadden is a TV actress known for her portrayal of Dr. Beverly Crusher in the beloved Sci-Fi TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Born on March 2, 1949, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, she has had a successful career spanning over four decades with over 40 appearances in diverse films and television series.
Prior to her rise to fame, McFadden pursued theatre arts at Brandeis University. In addition to her acting roles, she served as a choreographer on the film The Dark Castle and Labyrinth and also holds credits as both a director and producer.
