Gabi Carrubba, born on October 8, 1994 in the United States, is a pop singer known for her appearance as a contestant on American Idol season 11. She gained attention with her audition performance of Maroon 5’s “Sunday Morning.” Prior to her rise to fame, Carrubba had been involved in dance from a young age and had extensive experience working in professional theater. Additionally, she had started posting content on YouTube before deciding to try out for American Idol.

A few interesting facts about Carrubba include her rendition of the national anthem at a New York Mets game in September of 2012 and her role as an extra orphan in a production of Annie. Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Gabi is the daughter of Michael Carrubba.
