About Fu Yuanhui
Fu Yuanhui is a competitive backstroke swimmer from Hangzhou, China. She is commonly known by the nickname “Honghuang Girl.” She gained widespread popularity in China during the 2016 Olympics, where she won a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke and captured attention with her spirited and whimsical personality.
Yuanhui began swimming at the age of five and made her international debut at the 2012 Olympics. She continued to achieve success, winning gold medals in the 50m and 100m backstroke events at the 2014 Asian Games. In addition, she scored her personal best time of 27.11 seconds in the 50m backstroke at the 2015 World Aquatics Championship.
She comes from a family with parents Fu Chunsheng and Shen Ying.
