About Frida Hansdotter
Frida Hansdotter, born on December 13, 1985 in Vasteras, Sweden, is a Swedish alpine skier known for her remarkable achievements in slalom events. She holds the World Cup record for recording eight second-place finishes in slalom without winning a title before finally securing her first World Cup win in 2014.
Hansdotter made her debut in the World Cup during the 2007 season and achieved her first podium placement with a second-place finish in Ofterschwang, Germany in 2009.
She represented Sweden at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympic Games and also clinched bronze and silver medals at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships respectively. Born to Hans Johansson, who was also involved in skiing, she has a sister named Linn.
